Our Carriage Services

North Jersey Carriage Company has been family owned and operated since (1945). We take great pride in our professional services and specifically cater to your special day.

Our services are reserved on a first come, first serve basis. While we get many last minute bookings, the only way to guarantee your service package is to put a deposit on it. Paying for our service is split into two payments. We require a non-refundable 50% deposit that you may pay with cash, check, money order and now Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. We book up to a year in advance of the event where the remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to the event.

We travel all over we have been as far as Georgia! The horse and carriage is limited up to a 3 mile distance, please factor in the amount of time it takes to travel in a carriage to your destination(s) as the horses are not allowed to travel faster than roughly 5mph. Also keep in mind when planning out your route as we prefer to stay away from inclines, declines, heavy traffic roads, rough roads, etc.

This policy is kept with safety in mind of the horses, drivers, and people in the carriage! If these factors are hard or impossible to avoid, then North Jersey Carriage Company highly recommends requesting a police escort (a police escort will also save time for heavy traffic area's). Our wedding services are based on flat rates, typically from 1 to 4 hours. However, please call for a specific estimate (we must charge 7% NJ sales tax on all services). Contracts are received through mail, email, or fax. Most importantly our services are rain or shine!
